ALSACE AT CHRISTMAS Complete!

Are you coming to the beautiful French region of La Alsace?

 

Fairytale towns that you won't believe exist!! Already if, it is a wonderful region all year round, but it's in december, when the magic of Christmas permeates the streets of this region of France and its inhabitants turn to the decoration of their houses houses of intense colors, the lights and the Christmas markets that will not leave you indifferent.

It will be a trip in small group of maximum 12 women and Alba who will accompany you at all times.

 

Day 1-At the agreed time we will meet at the Barcelona airport to catch our flight.. We will arrive about 11:15h approx to Strasbourg airport and we will go in a comfortable private vehicle that will take us to our central hotel, located on the Place de la Gare, It is 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral and one of the best places to stay that can be reached by transport, since the center of Strasbourg is closed to traffic. After Check in and leaving the suitcases, We will go to eat and at the end we have prepared a private guided tour for the group with our guide Iván, Spanish by birth and Alsatian mother, degree in tourism from the University of Strasbourg. We will visit the most interesting of this beautiful city, incredible for its heritage with its cathedral of Notre Dame and La Petite France with its canals and its incredible houses. At the end of the visit, free time for the Christmas markets, we will have dinner and rest.

Day 2- After having breakfast, we start our Alsace wine route and go to Colmar, the largest town on the route and also one of the most beautiful, known as “Little Venice” through their channels. Afterwards we will visit Eguisheim, the town that served as inspiration for the movie Beauty and the Beast, and also at Christmas? It couldn't be more than fairy tale! Around 6:00 p.m. we will arrive back in Strasbourg and free time.

Day 3- In the morning after breakfast we will leave the route to visit other towns of the famous Alsace Wine Route. We will start with the Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, the best preserved in Alsace and with stunning views. You have the ticket included to visit it in its entirety at your leisure.. Then we will go to Riquewhir, considered one of the most beautiful towns in Alsace, and depending on the rhythm of the group and the time we have, we will also visit Ribeauville, but I leave it as optional, since we have prioritized those that, to our taste, They are prettier and we prefer that you go without rushing, because you are going to go crazy with the shops and Christmas markets! :-). On the days of the route you will eat in local restaurants that I will reserve for you so that you can regain your strength with the delicious Alsatian food.. Return to Strasbourg around 6:00 p.m. and free time.

Day 4- Free morning in the center of Strasbourg for last purchases or optionally, You can take a boat route through the canals of Strasbourg which is wonderful…at the agreed time, Our vehicle will pick us up at the hotel to take us to the airport to catch the plane that will take us to Barcelona and end of the trip..
